1. As an
agency we feel you will have no passion for our Rugby Club
Abbotts are passionate about
rugby.
We are also
commercial. By helping your Rugby Club grow we will in turn benefit, as our own
business will grow along side the club. Someone who has a commercial outlook on
the team can be a positive attribute and be able to make decisions from a
commercial angle.

2. Abbotts
Advertising is only a small company.
We are a
small personable company with a passion for Rugby, all the people working for Abbotts
have a vested interest in the business so will do their very best to ensure your
exact needs are met. Working with a small company has many advantages over a
larger agency with thousands of staff. You get a personal service, when you
phone the offices you will speak to someone who knows who you are, about the
account, and can more than likely help you out in no time at all. We are a
specialist focusing within the Rugby sector and as a result, we are the largest agency
for this sector.

3. You
are not based in our area, what do you know about the area we are in?
We
don’t just blanket cover loads of clubs when approaching new clients hoping that
if we speak to enough clubs then we will get lucky and a club will eventually
take us on. We strategically look at clubs in areas that we already know
extremely well so that all parties concerned benefit immediately from our
efforts. As a result, we experience very few teething problems thus all
the clubs that we represent have seen instant results from the very start of the
partnership.

4. We do
not have a big budget; we cannot afford to pay an agency.
The
difference between Abbotts and many other agencies is there are no agency fees
or retainers to pay with us. We take a commission on the revenue we secure, so
if we don’t sell anything we don’t make anything, the more we sell, the more we
make. click

5. Will we have enough to sell or what
if we have sold out of opportunities?.
The team
at Abbotts have a vast experience of advertising and sponsorship, we are happy
to suggest new and alternative ways of securing additional sponsorship and
revenue and hence generate much needed revenue. We have worked with many of our
clients and helped them to think outside the ‘typical’ advertising parameters.
We can help identify
additional commercial areas where advertising and sponsorship can be secured.

6. We have limited resource as a club, won't this give us an
admin nightmare?
Abbotts Advertising offers a
complete service to the clubs we represent. We do not believe in simply making
introductions, we invoice the clients, collect artwork and can assist in the
design of banners, we liaise with board manufacturers regarding design of
banners and if necessary the installation of boards. All the clubs do is invoice
us once a month, we keep all our clients up to date with payment details etc,
all information is provided on a comprehensive spreadsheet.

7. Why wouldn't I use a major sports marketing
agency, instead of you?
We operate in just one market
unlike some of our competitors, therefore we can focus on what is best for your
club. Our size enables us to be flexible and responsive to your needs.
