Worthing RFC - Community Club Partnership Package
Would you value the chance to enjoy a
relationship with a prestigious south coast rugby club
and take full advantage of its great media potential? If
so, Worthing RFC is your natural next port of call, offering
excellent potential for advertisers, sponsors and club
partners alike.

To understand how Worthing RFC came about,
you have to go back nearly a century to 1920, when a group
of local sportsmen met and formed the club, despite having
no ground or equipment. Various locations over the years
led eventually to its current home in Angmering in 1977.
Later, in 1989 the club amalgamated with the Old Azurians
RFC, founded in 1927 by ex-pupils of Worthing High School
for Boys. A number of Old Azurians RFC are still active
in the Worthing RFC ranks. Over time the club has progressed
by leaps and bounds. It now offers first-class rugby facilities,
is a designated Centre of Excellence for Sussex Rugby and
can boast a flagship first XV, Worthing Raiders, with a
great track record at national level. The club is also
a major force in the community, providing both healthy
sports activities and a vibrant social environment. |
